The TurboLine cord from Gallagher is one of the safest and most high-performing electric fence cords for livestock, horses, and wildlife. Its braided structure makes it suitable for both permanent and mobile fencing over short and long distances. With a diameter of over 6 mm, it is highly visible and provides a large contact surface, reducing the risk of animals crossing the fence and getting injured.
Superior conductivity
With an extremely low resistance of 0.06 Ω/m, this cord offers much better conductivity than standard cords. Three tinned copper wires in the core ensure efficient electrification even beyond 500 m. Eight stainless steel wires braided along the surface distribute the current evenly.
Durable and wear-resistant
The braided design improves resistance to wear and frequent handling. It stretches far less than standard twisted cords, maintaining tension and requiring minimal maintenance. Proper tension enhances safety by allowing the cord to give way under high pressure, reducing injury and entanglement risks.
Controlled safety break
With a breaking strength of 430 kg, the cord is strong in daily use but breaks safely under extreme force. Always use strong insulators and corner posts.
