It also features continuous lateral protection that helps maintain trunk alignment. At the neck level, a neck brace stabilizes the spine and vital areas. Our Airlight 2 airbag vest is designed to be worn snugly, either alone or over our New York competition jackets (available HERE), Paris Soft Air competition jackets (available in December 2021), or any other garment certified as a "Freejump Airbag Technology compatible jacket." It closes with a zip at the front, and two rows of saddle stitch points draw the product well and give it that unmistakable Pénélope tone.

The inflation speed of the Airlight 2 airbag vest is 98ms, which is ultra-fast to reach the necessary pressure for optimal protection. The gas generator available on this new model is lighter, faster, and quieter. It also has a new patented ball cord with a more convenient retention clip (with simplified rearming), and its new saddle attachment is made of lightweight high-performance fabric.
SIZE ADVICE:
Your Airlight 2 airbag vest must be perfectly adapted, and you should choose it neither too large nor too small. Too tight, it risks being dangerous during activation; too large, it might be ineffective.
CARE ADVICE:
Maintenance advice: This vest should not be machine washed or dry cleaned. To maintain your Airlight, you can hand wash it with mild detergent, without scrubbing. It is absolutely excluded to put it in the dryer or iron it. It must not be exposed to high temperatures (for example, on a radiator, near a flame, or in a closed vehicle exposed to direct sunlight). You should not leave the Airlight vest folded or rolled. Ideally, store it on a hanger in a dry place, protected from moisture.
