Thanks to its lightweight, stretchy and breathable materials, the Airlight Strass offers excellent freedom of movement and exceptional comfort while riding. Two elegant rhinestone strips on either side of the shoulders add a chic and feminine touch, reflecting the signature style of the Pénélope brand.

Designed for a close fit, the vest can be worn on its own or over a competition jacket compatible with Freejump Airbag Technology, including the Pénélope Paris Soft Air, Calista and Calistrass models.

Airbag Activation System

The Pénélope x Freejump Airlight Strass Airbag Vest is equipped with a mechanical activation system with a safety lanyard, designed to rapidly activate the protection in the event of a rider falling from their horse.

How it works:

• ✔ Saddle attachment: a dedicated attachment strap is secured to the saddle and connected to the airbag vest via a ball-release lanyard.

• ✔ Mechanical activation: in the event of a fall where the rider becomes sufficiently separated from the horse, the tension on the lanyard triggers the activation mechanism.

• ✔ Ultra-fast inflation: the gas generator releases gas, allowing the airbag to reach its required protective pressure in just 98 milliseconds.

• ✔ Immediate protection: the airbag inflates around the chest, back, neck, lower back and pelvis to help reduce the consequences of an impact.

• ✔ Resettable system: after activation, the vest can be made ready for use again by following the manufacturer's resetting procedure and replacing the gas cartridge with a compatible one.

Important:

• Before mounting, the rider must always attach the vest's safety lanyard to the designated saddle attachment.

• The system must be correctly installed and checked before every use.

• The vest does not automatically activate in every fall, particularly if there is insufficient separation between the rider and the horse.

• After each activation, the condition of the vest must be carefully checked before it is used again.

• Only use gas cartridges recommended by Freejump for this model.
