The Beris Long Pelham Tongue Port Bar Soft has been specially developed for horses that are sensitive to tongue pressure. Its straight mouthpiece with a flattened tongue port provides optimal tongue relief, encouraging relaxation, better acceptance of the bit, and increased chewing activity.

This design is particularly suitable for horses that try to place their tongue over the bit or show signs of discomfort such as head shaking. The 30 mm tongue port offers ample room for the tongue while remaining compliant with German equestrian regulations.

The Pelham is a classic bit that combines action on the mouth, lower jaw, and poll. Thanks to its long shanks, it provides leverage, allowing for greater control while maintaining precise communication with the horse. Depending on the selected shank length (5 cm or 7.5 cm), the leverage effect can be adjusted to suit the horse and rider's needs.
