Product Description

The Soft Flex Soft Loose Ring Snaffle is designed for the most sensitive horses. Integrated bit guards prevent the lips from coming into contact with metal, ensuring the horse only feels the soft synthetic material. The ultra-flexible mouthpiece encourages chewing activity, relaxation and a steady, reassuring contact.

The outer layer is made from a soft, non-toxic synthetic compound, suitable for safe daily use. Its smooth finish protects delicate oral tissues, while the flexible inner core allows the bit to adapt naturally to the shape of the horse’s mouth. Horses that dislike rigid or metal bits often respond with improved relaxation and increased salivation when using this material.

The ultra-flexible straight mouthpiece follows the natural contour of the mouth and avoids the nutcracker effect associated with jointed bits. Its flexibility cushions rein aids and distributes pressure evenly, helping sensitive horses stretch forward and downward into a comfortable contact. With a 20 mm thickness, pressure is widely distributed, making it especially gentle on sensitive tongues and bars.

The loose rings allow the mouthpiece to move freely, encouraging light chewing activity and helping the horse remain supple and attentive in the contact. This added mobility supports precise rein aids and maintains a soft, responsive connection throughout the ride.

Ideal for

  • Highly sensitive and reactive horses

  • Young horses learning to accept the bit

  • Riders who prioritise soft, non-restrictive aids
