Sugar content in Horslyx

Horslyx contains relatively little sugar compared to a horse's daily diet.

For instance, a 500 kg horse eats about 50 kg of grass per day, which can contain up to 2000 g of sugar.

If that same horse consumes 0.25 kg of Horslyx per day, it only takes in 82.5 g of sugar.

Since horses consume only a small amount of Horslyx daily, they receive just a limited amount of extra sugar.

Moreover, horses tolerate sugar well, especially when it is consumed in small amounts and spread throughout the day (such as when grazing or using a lick).
