Usage: In curative treatment, it aids in the repair of damaged frogs (rotten frogs, soft and painful gaps) by nourishing and rebuilding them. In preventive care, it maintains healthy frogs by nourishing and waterproofing them.

Instructions:

• Keep the balm at a temperature between 15 and 20°C to facilitate application.
• For curative treatment: Wear a vinyl glove to protect the hand and take a walnut-sized amount of balm with your fingers, press it into the central gaps of the hoof, and pack it tightly. You can also apply it with a brush to the rest of the damaged frog. Repeat daily until the frog is completely repaired and has regained a firm, supple, and healthy appearance.
• For preventive care: Apply with a brush twice a week to the frogs. If horses are in very humid conditions, application can be done every other day.

Composition:

• Six different pure and raw essential oils for over 1.5%
• Nacre
• Beeswax for over 1.4%
• Shea butter for over 10%
• Six vegetable oils (including sweet almond oil and argan oil for over 2.5%)
• Cod liver oil, cold-filtered for food quality
• Food grade suet
• Vitamins
• Maceration of an oil in tree bark to recover its properties.

Note:

• After two or three days of application, the damaged frog may emit a foul odor again. This is due to moisture escaping from the frog. Continuing the treatment is necessary.
• Problems with damaged frogs are often caused by moisture present in the environment, which degrades the frog. To optimize healing, ensure that the horse is in a dry and clean environment.
• For greater effectiveness, after applying the Balm in the gaps when they are deeply excavated, we recommend placing a cotton compress or cloth to isolate them.
• The main role of the "Balm" is the treatment of the frog, but it can also be used on the entire hoof wall to harden it or only on the last centimeter at the bottom, near the shoe, to waterproof nail holes.
• "The Balm" can be used in addition to the shavings or endurance range when moisture causes degeneration of the frog.
• If the frog emits a bad odor, it is essential to use "SOS Frog" before applying "The Balm."
