Usage: The liquid hoof maintenance ointment quickly penetrates the hoof thanks to an active penetration principle. It nourishes the hoof deeply. It softens, hydrates, and strengthens the horn significantly. Regular use prevents drying of the hoof wall. Due to certain "precious" vegetable oils and certain essential oils in its composition, it promotes significant hoof growth. It leaves a protective film that results in a shiny and attractive appearance while allowing the hoof to breathe.
Application Advice:
- Clean the hoof with a brush.
- Open the jar and wipe the brush in the cap on the edge of the jar.
- Apply the liquid ointment to the entire outer surface of the hoof. A thin film is sufficient for the care of the horny wall.
- The normal frequency of use is three to four applications per week.
- The operation can be daily to prevent cracks and brittle hooves.
Composition:
- 3 Essential Oils
- 6 Vegetable Oils
- Vitamins
- Plant Extracts
Note:
- Its composition is suitable for horses housed in boxes with bedding made of wood shavings, flax, or hemp. Through daily application, it provides sufficient hydration to the hoof.
- In periods of dryness or if your horse's hooves require additional hydration, you can either wash the feet in the morning with water and oil them in the afternoon, or vice versa. We advise against washing, drying the hoof, and then applying the oil. Our products do not contain water, and water and oil do not mix well. If despite this treatment, the hooves still seem dry, you can then use the Ungula Naturalis flakes range, which will provide optimal hydration.
- In summer, you can also apply the hoof maintenance oil to the frogs. Indeed, since the disinfection of the frogs is less crucial than in winter, the hoof oil, due to its richness and hydration, will meet the needs of the frogs.
