Natural’Protect is a blend of vegetable oils and essential oils designed to reduce intestinal parasitism in horses while preserving their digestive flora, available in a paste form in a 60mL oral syringe.
Natural’Protect is specifically recommended for:
- Serving as a natural alternative to chemical dewormers in a preventive program;
- Promoting intestinal hygiene and overall digestive protection;
- Being used alternately with chemical dewormers.
The formulation of Natural’Protect is innovative and highly concentrated, and contains:
VEGETABLE OILS
- Soybean oil: rich in omega fatty acids beneficial for coat quality;
- Copra oil (derived from dried coconut pulp): supports digestive health and has anti-parasitic properties;
- Rapeseed oil: strengthens the immune system and reduces inflammation (rich in omega-3).
CLAY
- Bentonite clay: effective against mycotoxins and contributes to digestive balance.
ESSENTIAL OILS
- Clove: stimulates digestion, acts as an intestinal disinfectant, is a dewormer against flatworms like tapeworm, and has antifungal, antibacterial, and antiparasitic properties;
- Eucalyptus: broad-spectrum dewormer and digestive support;
- Cinnamon: beneficial against intestinal and digestive infections, anti-diarrheal, and powerful dewormer;
- Lavender: dewormer;
- Mugwort: effective dewormer against roundworms like ascarids and pinworms.
Administer directly into the horse's mouth, behind the tongue.
- For horses and ponies over 1.35 m: 30 ml, to be repeated after 8 days.
- For ponies under 1.35 m and foals under 12 months: 15 ml, to be repeated after 8 days.
For precise dosing: 1 ml per 10 kg of body weight, administered in 2 doses (one full syringe for a 600 kg horse).
Recommended 2 to 4 times a year, with a maximum interval of 3 months between each use.
This product contains essential oils, so it is not recommended for pregnant and/or lactating mares without veterinary advice.
