In the spring or following inappropriate feeding, many horses suffer from laminitis. This condition can also be triggered by retained placenta in the mare, prolonged standing, an allergy, fatigue following intense exertion, lack of exercise, or a diet too rich in protein, among other causes.

Laminitis primarily manifests in the front limbs and is characterized by inflammation of the keratinous membrane, leading to pain and heat in the hooves.

The product FORBUTEX has been specially formulated to act quickly to prevent the rotation of the 3rd phalanx and to avoid progression to a chronic form.

Directions for use:

This product can be administered directly into the horse's mouth, mixed with feed, or diluted in drinking water. The recommended dosage is 20 mL in the morning and evening for 12 days. It is advised to repeat the treatment every 21 days as long as necessary.

A 1L bottle provides approximately 2 months of use for one horse.
