Michel Vaillant Screw-on Stud NØ40S

Provide your horse with greater stability on hard, frozen or slippery ground with this screw-in stud featuring a square head and tungsten tip. Particularly suitable for winter conditions, it improves the horseshoe’s grip on compact surfaces and ice.

The tungsten tip offers excellent wear resistance and maintains its effectiveness on hard and abrasive ground. Its square head allows the stud to be fitted and removed quickly using a 10 mm spanner.

The stud extends 11 mm above the horseshoe, giving it a compact profile. It provides a moderate grip level (**), improving safety without creating excessive elevation beneath the hoof.

The W3/8 thread is the standard size used in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Luxembourg, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom.
