A work halter adapted to ethological horsemanship practices!

A tool recognized by whisperers, the ethological halter or American halter is now adopted by many recognized riders.

Designed in collaboration with Olympic rider Pénélope Leprevost, the Pénélope Ethological Halter is distinguished by the absence of a connection between the throat latch and the noseband.

This innovative halter allows for finer longeing work with the horse than with a traditional halter while preserving its mouth.

Without a connection between the throat latch and the noseband, it exerts less pressure on the cervical vertebrae than traditional ethological halters, providing more comfort to the horse and allowing the rider to work the horse in relaxation.

Resistant and elegant, the Pénélope Ethological Halter in leather and rope adjusts thanks to a noseband adjustable with 2 buckles distributed on each side of the nasal bone.

To meet the characteristics of the famous knotted halters, the Pénélope Ethological Halter closes with a knot on the side of the head and has a sliding longe attachment ring under the noseband.

A carabiner on the left side opens and closes the throat latch for more practicality.

Attention: an ethological halter works by pressure points: the knots rest on innervated areas of the horse's head, and the section that passes behind the ears is thin. It can become painful or dangerous if used incorrectly.

Care instructions

• For the rope part, rub with a clean damp sponge or a hard brush.
• Oil new leathers with beef tallow oil before the first use.
• Subsequently, clean regularly with glycerin soap.
• Feed with a balm or leather grease
