MANUFACTURING PROCESS OF OUR SPIRULINA VERMICELLI: Harvest: The culture medium containing spirulina is directed to a harvesting sieve, where spirulina remains in the sieve, and the filtrate is returned to its basin. Pressing: Once rinsed, spirulina is pressed to eliminate a significant amount of water. Extrusion: This step involves the production of spirulina spaghetti spread on racks. The racks are placed in carts for drying. Drying: Spirulina is dried away from light in a ventilated room. This gentle and slow drying process (a few hours) optimally preserves the quality of spirulina (protein, vitamins, pigments, enzymes, etc.). Upon exiting the dryer, spirulina spaghetti is crushed to obtain flakes or ground to obtain powder. Vermicellization: After moistening the spirulina to allow passage through a cold granulation press, the obtained vermicelli is dried at low temperature.
