The Vogue Breakaway Safety Headcollar with Lead Rope is designed to provide your horse with comfort, durability and added safety, particularly when turned out in the field. Made from strong and durable nylon webbing, the headcollar features quick-drying neoprene padding around the noseband and headpiece. This helps distribute pressure evenly while enhancing your horse’s comfort.

The double-layered cheekpieces help reduce rubbing, while multiple adjustment points allow the headcollar to be precisely fitted to your horse. The double-buckle adjustable headpiece and throatlash adjustment provide a practical and secure fit.

Breakaway Safety System

For added safety in the field, the headcollar features hook-and-loop breakaway points on the headpiece and noseband. This Breakaway system is designed to allow the headcollar to release in an emergency if your horse becomes caught or trapped.

To help maintain the effectiveness of the safety system, keep the hook-and-loop areas clean and free from dirt and hair.

A matching lead rope is included.

Care Instructions

• Regularly remove mud, dust, hair and other dirt from the headcollar.
• Clean the nylon webbing and neoprene sections using a damp cloth or sponge and mild soap if necessary.
• Allow to air dry naturally, away from direct heat sources.
• Regularly check the condition of the webbing, stitching, buckles and breakaway points.
• Always keep the hook-and-loop areas clean and free from hair, dust and debris to maintain the effectiveness of the Breakaway system.
• Before each use, check that the hook-and-loop areas fasten securely and that the headcollar shows no signs of wear or damage that could affect its performance.
