One of the key features of the Vector Balance is its ergonomic tread angled at 5°.

The tread also features a Cross-Track Grip surface, complemented by integrated hardened steel pins for excellent grip under the riding boot.

Twin Balance Arch System for improved weight distribution

The tread incorporates the exclusive Twin Balance Arch System, designed to distribute the rider’s weight evenly across the entire base of the stirrup frame.

This construction creates a stable platform beneath the foot and helps the rider maintain balance, particularly during changes of position and when landing after a jump.

A layer of dynamic polymer also helps absorb impact and vibration, especially on landing, contributing to greater comfort for the rider’s joints and tendons.

45° orientation for easier stirrup recovery

The upper section of the frame features an offset design angled 45° outwards.

This position helps the stirrup naturally orient itself when the rider places their foot into it. It can also make it easier to recover a lost stirrup while riding.

This technical detail provides additional practicality while supporting a natural foot position.

Articulated outer arm with two-stage release system

The Vector Balance Stirrups feature an integrated articulated outer arm with a two-stage release system designed to help prevent accidental opening.

The spring-loaded arm locks into the base of the frame. When the stirrup is subjected to strong vertical pressure, such as when landing after a jump, the rider’s weight remains distributed across the full structure to maintain a stable platform.

If direct pressure is applied to the articulated outer arm, it can open to allow the foot to release from the stirrup, helping to reduce the risk of the rider being caught in the stirrup during a fall. According to LeMieux testing, the release force is 36 N, approximately 3.62 kg.

As with any stirrup featuring a release mechanism, LeMieux states that opening cannot be guaranteed in 100% of all possible fall situations.
