The straight mouthpiece features a stainless steel core covered with soft leather, offering a warm, comfortable feel compared with traditional metal bits. Unlike stainless steel, Sweet Iron or other alloys, leather eliminates the cold sensation in the horse's mouth, encouraging better acceptance, relaxation and a softer contact.

The full cheeks prevent the bit from sliding sideways through the mouth, making directional aids clearer and more effective. This bit is particularly recommended for young horses or those that benefit from additional lateral support during training.
