Full Cheek Bit with Swivel Port in Sweet Iron – Stability, Comfort and Optimised Salivation
The full cheek bit with swivel port (Swivel Port Full Cheek Bit) is designed to provide exceptional comfort, improved bit acceptance, and precise communication, especially for sensitive horses or those that struggle with traditional bits. The tongue port made from premium sweet iron directly targets salivation-stimulating points on the horse’s tongue.
Sweet iron naturally encourages increased salivation, helping to keep the mouth soft, relaxed, and responsive. This enhances both the horse’s comfort and the quality of contact with the rider’s hand.
Innovative Mouthpiece: Freedom and Adaptability
The mouthpiece features a tongue port, is double-jointed, and rotating, combining comfort and control in a harmonious way. The side bars of the mouthpiece are fixed between the full cheek arms, while the tongue port is double-hinged and capable of a full 360° rotation. This design makes the bit particularly suitable for horses that struggle to find a comfortable position with a conventional bit.
The swivel port allows horizontal rotation, freeing the full cheek arms to move independently. The main advantage of this system is that the horse can adjust the mouthpiece to its most comfortable position, significantly reducing tongue pressure and promoting relaxation.
Precise Guidance and Lateral Stability
The full cheek arms provide clear lateral guidance, excellent stability, and a more supportive, guiding action. This makes the bit ideal for precision work, schooling, and transitions, helping the rider maintain clear and consistent communication.
