The LeMieux ProSorb Plain 2 Pocket Half Pad is an improved version of the renowned ProSorb system, expertly designed to provide a precise fit, optimal comfort and improved pressure distribution across the horse’s back.
The new wither profile, high-density foam inserts and adjustable shim system allow the half pad to be customised to help optimise the balance and fit of the saddle.
New wither profile
This new generation of the ProSorb half pad features an improved cut around the withers, designed to provide a better fit and positioning beneath the saddle.
This design contributes to the horse’s comfort while helping the half pad remain correctly positioned during exercise.
High-density foam inserts
The improved high-density foam inserts are designed to retain their shape effectively while helping to reduce pressure points on the horse’s back.
They provide additional support beneath the saddle and contribute to more even pressure distribution.
Adjustable shim system
The design of the pockets and shims has been updated to further reduce pressure points, particularly when multiple shims are layered together.
This system allows the thickness of the half pad to be adjusted as required for a more precise fit beneath the saddle.
Two sets of 5 mm shims included
The ProSorb Plain 2 Pocket Half Pad comes with two sets of 5 mm foam shims.
These shims can be placed inside the pockets to adjust the half pad and fine-tune the position of the saddle according to the horse’s conformation.
